Learning how to manipulate the internet to save you time and effort is the greatest attribute for a ICT native. What I want to do is to introduce some of the programmes and websites I currently use to keep me flowing. I promise to be able to given you some Websites or Software you have probably never heard of before.

Part 1

tvcatchup.com - deceitfully named to make you believe that the website is about watching shows that have already passed, but in fact it is one of the best free on-line live TV websites out there. Simply login to access the 40+ channels. These channels are all of the channels that you would get on free-view (and more). If nothing else you can assess their tv guide (without having to sign up). The quality of the images are amazing and once you get passed the one or two adverts that you are made to watch before your show, you will discover that this site is nothing short of mind-blowingly useful.

What's more is that you can put any show into full screen and sit back and watch the entertainment. The site is currently working on adding 8 new HD channels which will be an exciting addition to an already sparkling site.

The website is well worth a visit and I think you will find, as I did, that it will produces a pleasant surprise.

I would love to hear your feedback and any experiences with this website or other similar websites you have had.

It maybe a while before anyone reads this first entry. I am a trainee teacher studying at Plymouth University. I am fascinated by the rise of ICT, especially in eduction. I enjoy learning about the continued progress that web 2.0 is having. The school environment is changing and it is for the better. Learning is slowly being handed back to the children. Children have access to their learning anywhere and at any time.

Today I have been looking at Pod-casting and Blogs. I have a Twitter account which you can follow on my blog, I tend to put lots of my internet finds on there, due to instant nature. I will try to update as regularly as possible.

Here are some good sites I have visited today;
